Founder
SMG was founded in 2008 by Andrea Michelle Price. Andrea’s background has comprised over 20 years of diversified experience in the financial services industry serving in roles as banker, bank regulator, compliance officer and management consultant. Andrea has held a variety of management roles prior to forming SMG, at Credit Suisse, Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, Royal Bank of Scotland, New York State Banking Department and Continental Bank.
Andrea is known as a tenacious professional with excellent networking, organizational and relationship building skills. Her experience in the financial services industry has demonstrated her skill set as a proven leader, multitasker and self starter with comprehensive knowledge of corporate governance and internal controls. Her business development expertise is supported by a passion to aggressively build solid client relationships that will foster and enable revenue growth.
She is a strong project and event manager who exercises sound judgment and objectivity with all ventures. Andrea has excellent communication skills and is known as a facilitator and connector amongst colleagues, friends, family and associates.
Throughout Andrea’s career, she has demonstrated her passion for networking by planning and coordinating events, which have included conferences, fundraisers, golf outings, holiday parties, networking dinners, panel discussions, etc.
